Job Description

Ceragon is a global innovator and leading provider of end-to-end wireless connectivity solutions, specializing in transport, access, and AI-powered services. The Customer Support Engineer will follow support processes, reproduce field issues in a lab, analyze system performance, and proactively prevent issues. This role involves handling complex cases, supporting Ceragon engineers, and documenting resolutions, requiring direct interaction with certified customers.

Must Have:
  • Follow support process/cases through CRM system.
  • Work in lab to reproduce field issues and for self-training.
  • Analyze and debug system performance from collected data.
  • Act proactively to prevent issues by advising customers.
  • Support Ceragon engineers in the regions.
  • Handle complex cases and deliver solutions to customers.
  • Follow up product development with Tier-3 expert team.
  • Direct interaction with Ceragon Certified customer resources.
  • Document resolutions for reported issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proven experience with Microwave and mmWave Wireless.
  • Strong Ethernet/IP/networking knowledge.
  • Understanding packet switch network resiliency protocols.
  • Understanding of synchronization principles.
  • Multivendor telecom experience, NOC or operations.
  • Understanding radio link planning principles.
  • Experience with SNMP based NMS platform.
  • 2-3 years of experience with customer interfacing.
  • Comfortable in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Open to work for flexible time zone coverage.
  • Open for on-call availability.

What you’ll do:

  • Follow support process/cases through CRM system.
  • Work in a fully equipped lab environment to reproduce field issues and for self-training.
  • Analyze and debug system performance from collected data to identify point of failure.
  • Act proactively to prevent issues from happening by providing suggestions and advice to customer.
  • Support Ceragon engineers in the regions.
  • Handle most complex and difficult cases and deliver the solutions to customers.
  • Follow up product development/changes with close cooperation with Tier-3 expert team.
  • Direct interaction with Ceragon Certified customer’s resources for higher complexity support requirements.
  • Document resolutions for reported issues for further training purposes through creating knowledge items.

Job Requirements

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proven experience with installation, configuration and advanced troubleshooting of Microwave and mmWave Wireless Experince.
  • Strong Ethernet/IP/networking knowledge.
  • Understanding packet switch network resiliency protocols, xSTP, G8032.
  • Understanding of synchronization principles and standards.
  • Multivendor telecom experience, NOC or operations.
  • Understanding radio link planning principles.
  • Experience with SNMP based NMS platform.
  • 2-3 years of experience with interfacing customers (support, presales).
  • Familiarity with millimeter-wave wireless systems (especially 60 & 80 GHz), link budgeting, antenna alignment, and propagation characteristics—ideally with Terragraph or similar mesh-based wireless technologies would be a plus.
  • Comfortable in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Open to work for flexible time zone coverage (Morning/Afternoon).
  • Open for on-call availability.
